Working as part of a growth-driven design team on the greaterzion.com site, I stragetized how to make ititerative improvements that would boost the performance and user experience if the site. One of the first things we tackled was restructuring the sitemap and navigation to allow users to find what they are looking for while also exposing them to inspirational content.
The homepage was the first page to be completely re-designed in an effort to present Greater Zion as a region that encompasses more than just Zion National Park.
The new design recoginzes that many users come to the site specifically for National Park information while aiming to inspire those visitors to explore more of the region during their stay.
From large-scale, informational image sliders showcasing the unique landscape to seamless blog article integratoin, users can find both what they are looking for and be inspired to delve deeper into the site.
